A 60-year-old man was killed in a wild elephant attack in this high-range district on Thursday morning, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Vimal.

According to the police, the incident was reported from a tribal hamlet in Champakkad under the Marayoor police station limits.

Upon receiving the information, a police team went to the area, a police officer said.
