Thiruvananthapuram | BJP Kerala president Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Thursday took a veiled swipe at the previous Congress-led UPA government at the Centre while highlighting the NDA government's development initiatives under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a Facebook post, Chandrasekhar said the difference between the NDA government's "12 years of politics of performance" and the "decades of corrupt dynastic politics" was evident from the country's progress in various sectors.

Without naming the Congress or the UPA, he said the expansion of drinking water connections, medical colleges, metro rail networks and defence exports reflected India's unprecedented growth in infrastructure and development under Modi's leadership since 2014.

He also claimed that the BJP-led NDA government had implemented projects at an unprecedented pace and scale, and asserted that such progress was possible when a government focused on nation-building instead of "dynastic and vote-bank politics." The former Union Minister of State for Electronics and IT''s remarks came amidst opposition onslaught against the Narendra Modi government inside and outside Parliament over various issues.
