New Delhi | Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed happiness over Pope Leo XIV's successful surgery, and wished him a full and speedy recovery.
Pope Leo XIV underwent surgery on Tuesday to remove a lung nodule, and the Vatican said the operation was completed successfully, on schedule and as planned.
"Happy to learn that His Holiness Pope Leo XIV's surgery last night was successful. Wishing him a full and speedy recovery as well as continued good health," Modi said in a post on X.
