New Delhi | Senior diplomat K Srikar Reddy was on Friday appointed as India's new envoy to Qatar.
A 2001-batch Indian Foreign Service diplomat, Reddy is currently serving as India's Consul General in San Francisco.
"He is expected to take up the assignment shortly," the external affairs ministry said.
Reddy will succeed Ambassador Vipul.
