Indore| Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) is all set to host the 13th Edition of the Conference on Excellence in Research and Education (CERE) from June 9th to 11th, 2023. The conference, with the theme 'Organizations in Action: Digitalization and Sustainability in Management Practices,' aims to explore the strategic challenges and opportunities organizations face in the era of digital transformation and sustainable growth.

With the rapid advancement of technology and its impact on society, organizations are increasingly evaluated based on their ability to adapt, differentiate, and connect with individuals within and beyond their boundaries. Acknowledging this paradigm shift, IIM Indore emphasizes the importance of sustainable management processes for organizations to achieve and maintain a competitive edge. The CERE 2023 conference aims to delve into intelligent technologies and their role in addressing challenges, fostering unique opportunities, and promoting equitable and sustainable growth.

Prof. Himanshu Rai, Director of IIM Indore, highlighted the transformative power of the digital revolution in the past decade, particularly during the pandemic. He stressed the relevance of digitalization across industries and verticals, enabling companies to become more agile, efficient, and value-driven. Prof. Rai expressed IIM Indore's commitment to contextual relevance and explained how the conference's theme aligns with the institution's goals. By gathering academicians, researchers, and experts, CERE 2023 aims to facilitate knowledge sharing and exploration of innovative strategies that harness cutting-edge technologies for equitable and sustainable growth.

The three-day conference will feature prominent academicians and industry experts who will share their insights and expertise. Distinguished figures such as Prof. Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director of IIM Bangalore; Prof. Vivek Suneja, Head & Dean of FMS, University of Delhi; and Prof. Prashant Mishra, Dean - SBM, NMIMS, Mumbai, will grace the inauguration. The first day will also include keynote addresses by Dr. Kamal Gulati from AIIMS on "Unleashing the Power of Medicine-Management Collaboration for Enabling Medical Leadership in India" and Prof. Falguni Vasavada-Oza from MICA on "Marketing in a Digitally Enabled World."

In addition to the main conference, CERE 2023 will feature a captivating Three-Minute Thesis competition. Researchers will have the opportunity to present their work concisely and engagingly, encapsulating the essence of their research in a dynamic and time-bound format. This event aims to showcase participants' expertise, creativity, and communication skills while highlighting the significance of their research.

Erfan Khan and Ankit Rohilla, CERE Coordinators and FPM 2022 participants, expressed their excitement about the conference's overwhelming response. They shared that CERE 2023 has received a record number of submissions for paper presentations, including participants from foreign universities. The coordinators warmly welcomed the esteemed experts, delegates, and speakers to the conference. Notable participants include Prof. Sushanta Kumar Mishra from IIM Bangalore, Prof. Neeraj Dwivedi from IIM Lucknow, Prof. Murugan Pattusamy from the University of Hyderabad, Prof. Kunal Kamal Kumar from IIM Udaipur, Dr. V K Jain, a retired executive from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Prof. Lalit Singh from IIT BHU, Prof. Nirmala Menon from IIT Indore, and Dr. Kamal Gulati, a senior scientist from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Additionally, the conference has welcomed six participants from foreign universities representing Morocco
