Mumbai | Doctor turned entrepreneur Dr Tanya Unni has emerged with her bespoke skin care and hair care products after 4 years of research work. The products are the results of 20 years of experience that delivers potent all-in-one skincare solutions designed to help treat even the most stubborn concerns.

The brand hosted an intimate launch event at the J W Marriot Hotel on Juhu on Sunday (Mar 19, 2023) hosted by Dr Tanya, Honourable Union Minister V Murleedharan and Australian Treasurer & Minister Cameron Dick and former Miss India World, Sayali Bhagat to preview to a bespoke range of Australian Cosmeceutical Skincare.

Union External Affairs Minister V Muraleedharan said that the demand for Ayurveda is increasing today and that these products can be rapidly expanded in India as well. He added that we should all promote such products.

Australian minister Cameron Dick addressed the ceremony and said that the products of entrepreneur Dr Tanya Unni are selling well in Australia as well. There are many opportunities for this in India too, he said in his congratulatory speech.

Oscar winner Rasul Pookutty spoke in the event. Besides, many prominent personalities of the Hindi and Tamil film world were present in the event.

Dr Tanya Unni's decision to bring Dr Tanya Skincare to the Indian market is personal to her. Connected deeply to her Indian heritage and the many traditions that have helped shape who she is today, expanding the business to a country she will always call home brings her great pride and purpose.

"Indian culture is a significant part of my identity. I feel very proud to have worked so hard to develop an incredible skincare range in Australia, and to have now the opportunity to bring this back home to my birth country is truly special."

"Wherever I am lucky enough to do business, it's never quite the same feeling as achieving those same accomplishments in your birth country. In a sense, I feel like I am coming home, and that's a very beautiful thing," says Dr Tanya.

At Dr Tanya Skincare, we believe all skin is unique and should be celebrated for exactly that. There are no two identical skin conditions, which means nor should one's journey to achieving long lasting results.

"As an Indian woman, I deeply understand our skin and what it needs to flourish. While skincare should be customised to the audience, I've unfortunately experienced how few products are formulated to support the unique skin concerns and weather conditions we experience in India," says Dr Tanya.

"Expanding Dr Tanya Skincare to India allows me to give back to my birth country through combining my extensive medical expertise with the age-old benefits of Ayurvedic practices, a philosophy deeply rooted in my culture."
