Palakkad District Keralotsav 2024: First place in ‘Arm Wrestling’ competition is again for Infan

The 22-year-old, who won bronze at the national level in 2019 in Arm Wrestling (Pancha Gusthi), was the state champion in the 90 plus category in 2019/2022/2023.

Palakkad | Infan P B won first place again in district level ‘Arm Wrestling’ competition of Palakkad District Keralotsav 2024. Prior to this, he won the title of Champion of Champions in the youth and senior categories of the District Arm Wrestling Championship. The 22-year-old, who won bronze at the national level in 2019 in Arm Wrestling (Pancha Gusthi), was the state champion in the 90 plus category in 2019/2022/2023.

Overall champion in 2023 and 2024 from Palakkad district, Infan has represented the Kerala state and Palakkad district many times in Arm Wrestling and won medals from various places. He was also the Palakkad district champion four times in the Keralotsav. Meanwhile, in 2023, he won a silver medal in the Kerala state Olympics competition; and in 2022, he won gold in the Calicut University Bodybuilding Championship.

Infan is currently working as a gym trainer after completing his B.Sc. from Guruvayur Srikrishna College. Infan, who is all set to participate in the state level Arm Wrestling competition to be held in Kozhikode in the first week of January 2025, hopes to represent India in this year's Asian Championship. "His dream is to compete for India and win a medal," said Infan. At the same time, he added that the full support from his family and coach Danny are behind his success so far. Infan is the son of Benath and Salina of Padinjakkara House, Rayamangalam, Thirumittakode.
