Navi Mumbai | Music and dance, the timeless forms of artistic expression, have long been recognised for their ability to uplift and enrich our lives. In the wake of the challenges posed by the post-Covid time, the All India Dance Festival 'GHUNGROO 2023' has been launched, aiming to dispel gloom and despair while fostering harmony and nourishing the human spirit. 

With past lockdowns and economic downturns disrupting normal life, the festival serves as a much-needed platform for deserving artists, encompassing a diverse range of dance forms, including Classical, Western, and Folk. A total of 80 groups will showcase their presentations, featuring around 900 artists, all under one roof. The festival aims to provide these talented individuals and institutions with new avenues to propagate and preserve the rich tradition of Indian music and dance. 

Renowned artists from the industry will grace the festival, offering captivating performances across various dance forms. Audiences can expect to witness enchanting displays of Yakshagana, Sattriya, Odissi, Mohiniattam, Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi, Chau, Garba, Bhangra, Lavani, Sambalpuri, Salsa, Bihu, Panih, Dholu Khunita, Contemporary, Bollywood, Semi-Classical Fusion, and many more. 

There are no entry fees for artists or tickets for attendees. Scheduled to take place on June 18, 2023, at the CIDCO Auditorium in Vashi, Sector 30 A, Navi Mumbai, the festival will run from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The event promises to be a grand affair, attracting numerous well-known dignitaries from the art and cultural sphere.
