Mumbai | The doctor who paints on the canvas with wizardry of colours... Dr. Juni Menon from Kottayam is reaching the art lovers of Mumbai with her paintings that ensemble nature and spirituality. Along with managing the ophthalmology department in Surat, Juni is also active in painting.

Though she is a native of Kottayam, Juni's childhood was spent in the city of Kolkata. She studied dance and music from a young age. Later, when she moved to Kerala, Juni became a regular presence in art festivals. She also won many awards including the Kala Thilaka title, and then entered the world of painting.

During this time, Juni studied and researched various forms of painting. The frames drawn during the student life received many compliments. But she felt that her pictures should reach the hands of the deserving people. That is how Juni decided to participate in painting exhibitions in various places, and received great response. Many magazines were appeared with her signature art on its cover pages.

She has won many accolades like Rabindranath Tagore Award 2024, Jyoti Lalit Kala Academy Chitrakala Ratna Samman 2024, US Art Gallery, Amrita Shergill Award 2024, Bharat Art Society Jamini Roy Memorial Award 2024, Chitrakala Art Gallery Bharatiya Kala Ratna Award, Ajanta Ellora Art Gallery Award, Rani Lakshmi Bai Kala Award, Manikarnika Art Gallery Award, etc.

Dancer and painter Dr. Juni Menon's paintings will be exhibited at 'Hat of Art' held at Nesco Exhibition Center, Goregaon, Mumbai from October 25 to 27. Juni asserted that those who come to participate in the Hat of Art exhibition in Mumbai will not be disappointed as there is a huge world of sights prepared there. At the same time, Juni added that the paintings that mostly reflect nature and human emotions are included in the exhibition.
