

Thrissur (Kerala) | The Guruvayur Devaswom Board on Saturday said that it will be introducing an online virtual queue system of booking to provide darshan to devotees at the famed Sree Krishna Temple.
Board chairman A V Gopinath told reporters here that the online system will be implemented on a trial basis.
He said that it will make darshan easier upto a point and end the difficulties that are being faced by devotees currently.
In addition to that, the Board is also planning to implement a 'Face App' system once it is completed, he said.
Gopinath said that the virtual queue was being implemented in compliance of the Kerala High Court directive to make darshan smoother for devotees.
He also said that the accounts department of the Board had been completely computerised.
The Board chairman also said that a lot of facilities, like storage for the belongings of devotees and providing them with drinking water, will be renovated soon.
