The first edition was released at the Vatican on November 29, 2024, during the World Parliament of Religions, in the presence of His Holiness Pope Francis. The occasion provided a significant international platform for sharing Sree Narayana Guru’s universal message of peace, fraternity and human unity.
The second edition was subsequently released at the Parliament of Victoria in Melbourne, Australia, by Hon. Lee Tarlamis OAM MP, Chief Government Whip of the Victorian Parliament, during the All Religions Centenary Conference. The event was attended by distinguished personalities, including Dr. Shashi Tharoor MP; Chandy Oommen MLA; Swami Sachidananda, President of Sivagiri Mutt; and Swami Shubangananda, Secretary of Sivagiri Mutt.
Adding further significance to the book’s global journey, Harmony Unveiled has found a place in the collections of several prestigious academic, cultural and parliamentary institutions across the world. These include the University of Cambridge Library, University of Oxford Library, British Council, UK Parliament, Parliament of Victoria, University of Batangas in the Philippines, and Rajabhat University in Bangkok, among others. The book has also been placed in the libraries and collections of more than 50 universities and higher educational institutions across India, further extending Sree Narayana Guru’s philosophy to scholars, researchers and younger generations.
Harmony Unveiled seeks to take Guru’s universal vision of equality, fraternity, education, compassion and peaceful coexistence to a wider global audience. The authors hope the book will encourage greater academic and international engagement with Sree Narayana Guru’s philosophy and demonstrate its continuing relevance in addressing the divisions and conflicts confronting the world today.
The journey of Harmony Unveiled — from the Vatican to the Parliament of Victoria in Melbourne and now to the Government Secretariat in Kerala — reflects a continuing endeavour to take Sree Narayana Guru’s timeless message of “One Caste, One Religion, One God for Humankind” to audiences across the world
