Kochi | Metro Vaartha has bagged the Indywood Media Excellence Award as the Best Emerging News Daily. The Indywood Media Excellence Award  honours journalists and institutions for their constructive contributions.

The award ceremony will be held on July 9 at The Avenue Regent's Hotel here. It is jointly organised by Indywood and Aries Kalanilayam. Senior journalist Murali Parappuram will be given the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The 'Indywood Excellence Awards' stands as a distinguished platform dedicated to honouring the exceptional achievements of individuals and institutions in their respective fields. Conceived by Sohan Roy, the Founder Chairman and CEO of Aries Group, these awards are an integral part of ‘Project Indywood’. This initiative aims to unify the diverse sectors of India's entertainment industry under the prestigious global brand 'Indywood'.
