Kollam (Kerala) | A 46-year-old man was arrested on Saturday for allegedly molesting a young woman aboard a KSRTC bus here, police said.
The incident occurred in the wee hours of the morning when the woman was asleep in her seat, they added.
Police said that when the woman felt the man was touching her, she raised an alarm and staff and passengers on the bus prevented the accused from fleeing.
An officer of Kollam East police station said that the accused was arrested and booked for the offence under section 74 (assault or criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
