

Thiruvananthapuram | Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan will inaugurate the second edition of the Global Travel Market (GTM) 2026, a major travel and tourism trade event, here on June 3.
The three-day event is expected to bring together more than 1,000 domestic and international tour operators and over 300 corporate buyers, organisers said here on Saturday.
Organised by the South Kerala Hoteliers Forum (SKHF), Thiruvananthapuram Chamber of Commerce and Industries (TCCI) and other partners, in association with Kerala Tourism and India Tourism, the event aims to facilitate business partnerships and networking opportunities in the travel and tourism sector.
The inaugural function will be held at Kovalam on June 3. A B2B travel and trade expo featuring over 200 stalls showcasing tourism products and services will open near Neyyattinkara on June 4.
Union Minister of State for Tourism Suresh Gopi, Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala, Tourism Minister P C Vishnunath, and representatives from Sri Lanka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu are among those scheduled to attend various sessions and events during the conclave.
The event will feature business-to-business meetings, networking sessions, industry discussions and exhibitions highlighting tourism circuits, wellness tourism, Ayurveda, hospitality, travel technology and destination marketing.
Organisers said the expo would provide a platform for stakeholders to explore collaborations, launch products, generate business leads and showcase tourism offerings from Kerala and other regions.
The expo will be open to the public on June 5.
