Kottayam (Keralam) |Twelve persons were injured, three of whom are hospitalised, in a multi-vehicle road accident near Kanjirappally here on Sunday morning, police said.
Four cars, an autorickshaw and a two-wheeler were involved in the accident, it said.
The accident occurred when one of the cars hit the autorickshaw while trying to avoid another vehicle, it said.
Subsequently, other vehicles, including the two-wheeler, came and hit the car and autorickshaw, police said.
It said that 12 people were injured in the accident, but around three were hospitalised as they had suffered fractures. The rest only suffered minor injuries, police said.
