Bhopal | The security of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was managed by a team of women police personnel led by Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Crime Branch Bittu Sharma on Tuesday.
The pilot car was commanded by Cyber Cell's Inspector Renu Murab and Inspector Archana Tiwari discharged her duties with the VIP. Besides them, a team of women police personnel also played an important role in providing security to the Chief Minister at various places.
This was organised as part of Wednesday's International Women's Day celebration. As Holi comes on Wednesday, most of the Women's Day programmes in the State was conducted on Tuesday.
Bittu Sharma told, it was not a difficult task, as she had handled the security of the Chief Minister last year as well.
'We had practiced and the lady driver was well versed with Bhopal roads so we could manage it well without any hassle', she added.
Meanwhile, State Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that on the occasion of Women's Day, traffic was controlled across the state by women police personnel along with their male counterparts. Mishra reached Bhopal's Bittan Market Chowk on Tuesday morning to greet the women policemen engaged in traffic management and presented them with a bouquet of flowers.
