New facilities like the online registration of property will become easier in the coming days. The government is going to implement the new version of Sampada 2 from April 2023.
Major technical changes have been made in the new version. In the new version, along with simplifying the process, it has been arranged that buyers and sellers will be able to process the registry themselves if they have the correct information and documents of the property.
There is also a plan to make registration of documents with low stamp duty faceless. In the new version, you will be able to e-sign with the Aadhaar number.
The government's intention behind this is to do a faceless registry. Due to this people will not have to go to the registrar's office. The Registration Department started the process of online registry eight years ago.
Due to this, the complexities of the process of registry and other documents became easy. The department is making it better with modern technology. For this, the version of Sampada 1 has been changed. The process will remain the same as at present but new features have been added to the software.
With the correct property information and necessary documents in the software prepared on Auto Mod, people will be able to prepare the registry at home and present it to the sub-registrar. This will not affect the current system.
