

Indore | The 28th anniversary of the martyrdom of Blessed Martyr Rani Maria was celebrated on Saturday at Rani Maria Church Udayanagar. Archbishop Emeritus Leo Cornelio presided over the celebration. Indore Bishop Chacko Thottumarical and Ujjain Bishop Sebastian Vadakkel along with 30 priests concelebrated it.
Fr Herman Tirkey welcoming the gathering and said, “It was 28 years that Sr Rani Maria fell into the soil of Udainagar and soaked the land of Udaynagar with her blood. We enjoy the fruit of her martyrdom today.”

Bishop Chacko said Sr Rani Maria fed the hungry and quenched the thirsty.
Prejekta Peter from Amravati spoke about her aunt who had a hip fracture after a fall and how she did not undergo an operation and was discharged from hospital a day later.Superior General of Franciscan Clarist Congregation Sr Litty also spoke about the martyrdom.
Bishop Thottumarickal and Sr Litty laid the foundation stone for Rani Maria Cloistered Convent at Udainagar.
