Bhopal | Indore | New police commissioners have taken charges in Bhopal and Indore on Wednesday.
Bhopal's new commissioner Harinarayanchari Mishra on taking charge, promised stern action against the goons and miscreants.
Indore's new commissioner Makrand Deuskar held a meeting of the officers and inquired about the crimes committed in the city. Deuskar said that his priority is to investigate crimes against women, drugs, fraud, traffic reform and search for missing children.
Holding a meeting with Additional Commissioner of Police, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Deuskar understood the geographical location of the city through the presentation. He took introduction of the officers and understood the crimes committed in their areas.
Meanwhile, Harinarayanchari Mishra, after taking charge in Bhopal, inquired about the law and order situation in the city with the officials. Harinarayanchari Mishra is an IPS officer of 2003 batch. Mishra has been the Indore Police Commissioner.
Big steps have been taken like demolishing land mafia houses while he was in Indore. He has previously been SP in Gwalior, Jabalpur, Balaghat and Khandwa. He has also been Indore ASP, Mhow SDOP and ADC to Governor. On March 16, the Home Department had issued an order to post Indore Police Commissioner Harinarayanchari Mishra to Bhopal, Bhopal Police Commissioner Makrand Deoskar to Indore.
