Pithampur | With only a day left for the election Chairman and Vice Chairman of a big municipality of Pithampur Industrial City. This election will be conducted by the Presiding Officer Dr. Madhu Saxena and Returning Officer Roshni Patidar.
Presiding Officer Dr. Madhu Saxena said that the election will be conducted in a fair and fearless manner, Returning Officer Roshni Patidar said, through an affidavit, any Corporator who is not educated or cannot read or is not able to understand due to any other reason, can authorise a household member and get him or her to vote.
Station in-charge Lokesh Bhadoria said that about 100 jawans will be deployed outside the municipality on coming Monday, 13 February. All movement will be monitored on the Election Day, each person will be sent inside only after checking.
The city superintendent of police and the entire force will be present during the polling day. The process will be monitored through drones and surveillance cameras. The election will be conducted in a fair and fearless manner under security.
