Bhopal/Singapore | The Madhya Pradesh Pavilion has emerged as a key attraction at ITB Asia 2026, the international tourism trade show being held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Dr. Shilpak Ambule, High Commissioner of India to Singapore, inaugurated the pavilion in the presence of Dr. Ilayaraja T., Secretary, Tourism Department and Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, along with departmental officials and key stakeholders from the global tourism industry.
The pavilion showcases Madhya Pradesh’s diverse tourism offerings, spanning its rich heritage, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, vibrant cultural traditions, renowned wildlife destinations, spiritual centres, wellness experiences and sustainable tourism initiatives. From its historic monuments and cultural treasures to its national parks and immersive nature experiences, the presentation highlights the state’s appeal to a wide range of international travellers. Virtual Reality (VR) technology allows visitors to experience prominent destinations, while traditional hospitality adds a distinctive local touch through GI-tagged Morena Gajak and Ratlami Sev, offering guests a taste of the state’s culinary heritage.
The three-day event, which concludes on October 23, provides a platform for the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board to engage with leading tour operators, travel agents and investors from Singapore and across Southeast Asia through Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings. The engagements aim to strengthen the state’s presence in international travel packages and itineraries, expand market reach and explore new opportunities for tourism investment.
Participation in ITB Asia 2026 is expected to provide valuable insights into emerging trends and preferences in the Asian outbound tourism market. These insights will help shape targeted marketing strategies, strengthen Madhya Pradesh’s international positioning and support efforts to increase foreign tourist arrivals in the state.
