
Indore | `Parshuram Lok' and `Parshuram Dham' will be built at Janapav, the birthplace of Lord Parshuram. Along with this, a Brahmin Welfare Board would be formed in the State, said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan during the function of Lord Shri Parshuram Jayanti at Janapav in Mhow development block of the district on Saturday.
`Lord Parshuram was the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Madhya Pradesh is blessed and proud that Lord Parshuram was born at Janapav of our State. He took the first initiative to bring equality and make land available to all. To take his ideas forward, we have decided that no one will remain homeless in Madhya Pradesh', said the Chief Minister.
Various development works worth Rs 10.59 crore were being carried out at the birthplace and funds had been approved for that, he added.
VD Sharma, MP, said that Janapav was being developed as a place of pilgrimage by the State Government. Rapid development works were being done and various facilities arranged for devotees. The function was also addressed by Union Minister Faggan Sing Kulaste.
Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat, Rajya Sabha member Kavita Patidar, Chhatar Singh Darbar, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, district panchayat president Reena Malviya, IDA vice-president Golu Shukla, Ramesh Mendola, MLA, former legislator Rajesh Sonkar and Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad president Sunil Bharala were among the dignitaries present.
