Sebastian Thomas is the CEO of Biomed Ingredients Pvt. Ltd., a renowned exporting company in India. Under his leadership, the company has become one of the largest exporters of pharmaceutical ingredients in India. He has over 25 years of experience in the industry and is highly respected for his knowledge and expertise. When asked about the development of the young child at Kannimala Ambatt Home, Sebastian stated: “After PG in Computer science, I drove straight to Bengaluru. I am an NCC cadet who has participated in the Republic Day Parade in Delhi. As I was unable to secure a job in the military, I had to find alternate employment in order to make ends meet. For the first time, I created a resume and visited numerous companies in Bengaluru. I was employed at Toyota Kirloskar Company where I served as a computer operator for a period of three months. Subsequently, I was hired at Sami Chemicals (now referred to as Sami-Sabinsa), a multi-national corporation ran by a Malayali. Through dedication and hard work, I was able to advance from an administrative assistant to an Assistant Manager within seven years while gaining valuable knowledge and understanding during my journey. In 2004, I began my career at Deutsch Pvt Ltd. as a Logistics Manager, a French-owned company.
I was associated with the organization for a period of three years, after which I moved to ABB Limited as Manager Imports & Exports and served there for five years. Since the air pollution in Bangalore had taken a toll on my children's wellbeing, the decision to move from my previous location was necessary, as my wife's sister & her family are based in Goa. Plus, the weather is great there as well. During my professional career, I had the opportunity to work for Pentair Water as the Head of Import-Export at their Goa headquarters. This company is well known for producing and exporting water filtration systems and associated products. I worked in this role for a period of five years.
Realizing that it was the right time to start my own venture, I decided to resign from Pentair. Achieving this dream of mine was an incredible feeling. BioMed Ingredients was first launched in Germany. Sebastian was keen to make sure the products he provided customers with were organic and free of any pesticides, PAH, microbes, aflatoxins, micro toxins, heavy metals, iron particles, gluten, alkaloids and ETO.
At present, we are looking into and releasing a number of groundbreaking products. Already, over 500 extracts have been made available to the public. Our selection of extracts includes Turmeric, Black Pepper, Saffron, Green Tea, Green Coffee, Ashwagandha, Boswellia Serrate, Bacopa, Lycopene, Bamboo Extract, Lutein, Zeaxanthin, Cinnamon Extract etc.; His company exports a wide range of herbal and spice extracts, natural food colours, natural flavours, and organic certified products fueled with natural extracts.
He is a passionate advocate for organic farming and natural products. His mission is to ensure that farmers are able to provide pesticide-free products in a sustainable manner. He has been working tirelessly to promote organic farming practices, which are not only beneficial for the environment but also ensure that consumers get access to quality and healthy products.
