Mumbai: Vantara, the wildlife preservation initiative led by Anant Bhai Ambani, has unveiled its innovative edutainment video series, "Vantara ke Superstars." Featuring the voices of renowned Indian celebrities, this series aims to give a voice to the voiceless animals of Vantara, turning them into ambassadors for the natural world.
The series begins with Gauri, the first elephant to join Vantara. Rescued from a life of begging on the streets of Rajasthan, Gauri arrived at the Elephant Camp undernourished, suffering from arthritis, and with diminished vision. Now a beloved resident of the Radhe Krishna Temple Elephant Welfare, Gauri symbolizes the transformative power of compassionate care.
This initiative marks the first time in India that a conservation project has combined engaging storytelling with vital conservation messages. Vantara's series aims to revolutionize wildlife awareness, targeting all age groups and broadening the audience beyond environmentalists and conservationists.
Neena Gupta, who lends her voice to Gauri, shared her thoughts: "Working on Vantara's initiative to give voice to Gauri has been a deeply moving experience. Vantara is fostering a deeper understanding of wildlife conservation through these edutainment videos, combining entertainment with a powerful message for preserving our natural world."
The Vantara edutainment series is designed to entertain and raise awareness about the critical role individuals play in preserving biodiversity. Watch the first episode on Instagram and YouTube to join the mission of giving a voice to the incredible animals of Vantara.
