
Dubai, UAE | Lulu Retail, the region’s leading full-line retailer, has announced a series of exciting initiatives at Gulfood 2025, the world’s largest annual food trade show. The retailer has signed nine strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with top global manufacturers to further expand its world-class product offerings across the GCC and beyond. These agreements include partnerships with companies from Italy, Spain, Portugal, and India.
One of the standout agreements is the introduction of Milaf Cola, Saudi Arabia’s iconic carbonated date beverage. Milaf Cola will soon be available across Lulu stores in the GCC, with plans for expansion into India. The announcement follows the signing of an MOU between Lulu Retail and Al Madina Heritage, a subsidiary of the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), at the Lulu Pavilion at Gulfood. The agreement was officially signed by Yusuffali M.A, Chairman of Lulu Group, and Engr. Bandar Al Qahtani, CEO of Al Madina Heritage. This partnership underscores Lulu’s commitment to bringing high-quality, locally sourced products to international markets.
In addition, Lulu Retail has signed a key MOU with NAFED (National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India) to distribute Indian agricultural products and food items across Lulu stores worldwide. The agreement was signed by Salim M.A, Director of Lulu Global Operations, and Dhairyashil Kanse, Joint Managing Director of NAFED, in the presence of Yusuffali M.A, Saifee Rupawala, CEO of Lulu Group, and other board members.
Other significant agreements at Gulfood 2025 include partnerships with major brands such as Pasta Reggio (Italy), Frinsa Group (Spain), and The Cheesecake Factory (USA), among others. These collaborations are part of Lulu’s ongoing efforts to diversify its product range and provide customers with premium food products from around the world.
