KOCHI: The Kerala Sports Journalists Association (KSJA) will organise a major sports conclave in October aimed at generating ideas to revive and strengthen sports in the state. The decision was taken at the association’s general body meeting held at the Regional Sports Centre, Kochi, on Sunday.

KSJA, now formally registered as the K-Sports Journalists Association, also announced plans to conduct workshops for its members to stay updated on developments in various sporting disciplines.

Stan Rayan was elected president, while C.K. Rajesh Kumar will serve as secretary. Ashraf Thaivalappu is the treasurer.
