CPI(M) general secretary M A Baby on Friday alleged that the Sangh Parivar, RSS and BJP turn everything into a business, which, he claimed, breeds "corruption".

Speaking at an event in Delhi in support of the Cockroach Janata Party, Baby alleged that the RSS and BJP had even "commercialised" Lord Ram.

"We all know why the Ram Temple was constructed at Ayodhya. Besides creating communal divisions, it also led to corruption, as we have seen recently," the CPI(M) general secretary contended.

He was referring to the alleged embezzlement of millions of rupees in devotees' donations and valuables from the temple.

Baby claimed that the ongoing protest by students and CJP activists in Delhi stemmed from corruption in the conduct of entrance examinations, which, according to him, "have been turned into a business".
