Imphal | Security forces arrested two militants of a proscribed outfit from Bishnupur and Jiribam districts in Manipur, police said on Tuesday.

One active cadre of PREPAK (Pro) was apprehended from his residence at Ningthoukhong Kha Khunou in Bishnupur on Monday, they said.

More than 300 empty cases of various firearms were recovered from his possession, a police officer said.

Another cadre of the banned outfit was arrested from Bidya Nagar in Jiribam district on Monday.

He is a resident of Sonai Bazar in neighbouring Assam's Cachar, the officer added.
