KIIT sees significant rise in average salary for placement drive

Bhubaneswar | KIIT Deemed University, Bhubaneswar has seen a significant increase in the average pay package in its ongoing campus placement drive for the graduating batch of the Schools of Technology in 2023. The average CTC this year has surpassed Rs. 8.5 lakhs, while the highest offer touched Rs. 62 lakhs. This takes KIIT to the top National Institutes in terms of pay offered to its students.

The university is set to achieve cent percent placement yet again with 3600 job offers already made by 280 companies for 2800 eligible B.Tech. students. More than 92% of the batch has already received job offers, with 1100 students receiving multiple offers. Eighty-two companies have visited the campus, with 1500 students placed in "Dream Companies" with CTC of Rs. 15 lakhs or more. Another 1000 students were placed with a pay package ranging from Rs. 10 – 15 lakhs.

The university has been recording near total placement in all academic programs since 1997. This year, students had a super dream run with high CTC companies, and 'Day Zero' dream campus drives alone resulted in the placement of 1700 plus students by top-notch MNCs. KIIT Deemed University is the only university in India to proactively create an interface with the leading names in the industry, facilitating the placement of its students in various national and multinational companies.

The School of Management, which offers the flagship MBA program, has achieved 100% placement this year with 230 students out of the total strength of 300 already receiving job offers from 50 companies. Campus placement drives have recently commenced in the School of Biotechnology and School of Law, and the initial trends are very encouraging. KIIT has academic tie-ups with 350+ international universities providing an excellent opportunity for students to pursue higher education abroad. The campus placement drive is ongoing, and many companies have confirmed participation in the 2023 Campus Recruitment Programme in the coming months.
