Reliance Foundation UG Scholarships: 5,000 dreams take flight as results unveiled

Kochi/Mumbai: In a move to empower dreams, Reliance Foundation announced the results for its Undergraduate Scholarships 2023-24, selecting 5,000 students from a staggering pool of over 58,000 applicants across 35 states and UTs in India.

The scholarship, renowned as one of India's largest, inclusive, and diverse higher education initiatives, provides selected first-year UG students with grants of up to Rs. 2 lakh. Notably, the rigorous selection process considered not only academic merit but also means, with 75% of the chosen scholars coming from households with an annual income of less than 2.5 lakh rupees.

The Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships transcend academic disciplines, embracing students from Commerce, Arts, Business/Management, Computer Applications, Science, Medicine, Law, Education, Hospitality, Architecture, Engineering/Technology, and other undergraduate degrees.

Applicants can check the outcomes on www.reliancefoundation.org, underlining Reliance's commitment to transparency and accessibility. Successful candidates will not only receive financial support but will also join a robust capacity-building program and an active alumni network.

As part of its overarching vision for education, excellence, and innovation, Reliance Foundation aims to award 50,000 scholarships over the next 10 years, as announced by Nita Ambani, Reliance Foundation Founder & Chairperson, on the 90th birth anniversary of Reliance’s Founder-Chairman, Dhirubhai Ambani, in December 2022.

This announcement marks a significant stride in Reliance's consistent commitment to education, nurturing students, and contributing to India's future socio-economic development. To date, 23,136 student scholarships have been awarded, with 48% going to girls and 3,001 benefiting students with disabilities.

The Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships continue to play a pivotal role in realizing the potential of youth and propelling the nation towards greater heights.
