Scientist Suchitra Pyarelal has been appointed as the Kerala State Informatics Officer of the National Informatics Centre (NIC), according to an official order.

New Delhi | Scientist Suchitra Pyarelal has been appointed as the Kerala State Informatics Officer of the National Informatics Centre (NIC), according to an official order.

Pyarelal, who has been transferred to NIC Kerala from NIC Guwahati, will also head the Centre of Excellence on Microservices (CEM), Kochi.

She will also hold additional charge of the head of NIC Lakshadweep.

"Dr Suchitra Pyarelal will assume the charge of State Informatics Officer, NIC Kerala State Centre, Thiruvananthapuram w.e.f. 01.04.2023 i.e. after relinquishment of charge on superannuation by the present incumbent. She will exercise the power delegated to Head of State Centre .... and will report to DG (NIC)," the official order said.
