Keralam CM meets Jaishankar, discusses welfare of Pravasi community

Keralam CM V D Satheesan met EAM S Jaishankar and discussed issues concerning the welfare of the non-resident Keralite community worldwide

New Delhi/Thiruvananthapuram | Keralam Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Saturday met External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and discussed issues concerning the welfare of the non-resident Keralite community worldwide.

Satheesan said the meeting was productive and covered key issues concerning the Pravasi community, including consular assistance and prompt grievance redressal.

The Pravasi community of Kerala refers to the large Non-Resident Keralite diaspora living outside the state, both in other parts of India and across the world.

"The well-being of our Pravasi community remains our top priority," Satheesan said in a post on X.

The chief minister presented a gift to the union minister during the meeting.
