Weathermen predict timely arrival of monsoon in Maharashtra

#MV Bureau

Mumbai | Weather experts in Pune predict the monsoon will arrive in Maharashtra on time. According to the IMD, "There is a strong likelihood of the monsoon arriving on schedule in Maharashtra. The absence of cyclonic storm formations in the Arabian Sea or the Bay of Bengal suggests a smooth monsoon flow."

The IMD has announced the southwest monsoon arrival in Kerala between May 28 and 31 this time. However, there may be a variation of three to four days.

The monsoon typically enters parts of Maharashtra around June 9-10, reaching Pune by June 10 and Mumbai by June 11. However, according to the IMD Pune meteorological department, it is expected to progress over the southern region of Maharashtra around June 5.
