Thane Vishnumaya Swami temple pranapratishta on Jan 11

The special pranapratishta and Vellatta Mahotsava for Vishnu Swami and Kodungallur Amma will be held at the Vishnumaya Swamy temple at Kisan Nagar here on January 11.

The ceremonies will take place on Saturday between 11:50 am and 12:44 pm at the Vishnumaya Swamy Temple, the first of its kind for this deity in Maharashtra. The rituals will be led by Tantri Brahmasree Shine Krishna (Tantric Ratnam Brahmasree Tantrikal of Ayavar Math).

The main ceremonies of the prana pratishtha day on Saturday, January 11, are:

6 am: Maha Ganapathi Homam

7:50: Bhagavtiseva

10:30: Kalashapuja

12:20: Pranaprathistha

Followed by

Kalashabhishekam

Kalabhabhishekam

Vellattpuja

Sakthipuja

Alankarapuka

7 pm: Alankara Deeparadhana

7:50: Talichukuda

On the full moon days of every Malayalam month, Vellattu puja will be performed for Vishnu Maya Swamy and Guruthi puja for Kodungallur Amma. There will also be regular pujas on both occasions, according to temple office-bearers.

Acharya Unni Sarovar Math and Mathatipati Vishnu Devan Sarovar Math serve as the presiding officers of the temple.
