Navi Mumbai | The State Managing Committee Meeting of Sabarimala Ayyappa Seva Samajam Konkan Pranth was convened at Shree Ayyappa Temple, Airoli, Navi Mumbai, under the distinguished Chairmanship of Shri. Prakash G. Pai, National Trustee & Treasurer. The meeting served as a platform for significant discussions and guidance on various aspects of the organization's initiatives.
Shri. Prakash G. Pai, in his role as National Trustee & Treasurer, praised the exceptional work carried out by SASS Konkan and provided invaluable insights into the essential elements of Annadanam (food distribution) aspects. The discussions and guidance offered during this meeting were pivotal for the organization's progress and welfare.
The meeting commenced with a warm welcome by SASS Konkan Pranth General Secretary, Shri. Girish Nair, who greeted all the Ayyappa Sevaks and other dedicated office bearers. During his address, Shri. Girish G. Nair elaborated on the upcoming Annadanam project scheduled to begin in Erumely, Kerala from November 17th, running until January 19th, 2024. He expressed gratitude to everyone who supported the successful execution of Annadanam in 2022 and made a heartfelt appeal for continued support from all Sevaks this year.
Furthermore, Shri. Girish G. Nair announced the appointment of new office bearers, which included Shri. Adv. Dr. Anil Variyath as the President of SASS Mulund Dist, Shri. Gopi Nair as the President of SASS Mulund East Taluk, Shri. Anil Valmiki as PRS of Mulund Dist, Shri. Sunil Venkitaraman as the Secretary of SASS Ghatkopar Dist. and Shri. Sunil Purushottaman as the Secretary of SASS Navi Mumbai district.
SASS Konkan Treasurer, Shri. Shashank Shah, shared insights into the organization's commitment to strengthen its financial capabilities, crucial for the success of its seva activities. Additionally, SASS Konkan PRS, Shri. Sundaralingam Nadar, provided updates on the ongoing prachar (outreach) work necessary to fortify the organization's presence. SASS Konkan Admin Secretary, Shri. Ganesh Thevar, highlighted the organization's rapid expansion since its inception in the Konkan region since 2016.
A highlight of the event was the opportunity for all assembled Sevaks to be blessed with enlightening talks on Ayyappa Seva by the venerable Guruswami Shri. Mavelikara Radhakrishnan.
In his vote of thanks speech, the State Secretary - Sevak Outreach Shri. M S Mohanan Nair expressed gratitude to Shri. Vinod Nair, Vice President of Shree Ayyappa Temple, Airoli, and other Managing Committee members for their warm hospitality and for hosting the State Managing Committee meeting in their premises.
