Joined by AICC joint secretary Mathew Antony, George visited the Mumbai Congress headquarters and engaged with party spokespersons, leaders from minority communities and representatives of MVA allies and gave out a compelling message on the importance of the MVA Government’s return to power.

George also called on Cardinal Oswald Gracias and later met priests at Mount Mary's Basilica. He engaged with residents of the Bandra West Assembly constituency and Asif Zakaria, the Congress candidate from there. He was part of the campaign meeting organized by Janet D'Souza and Naseem Khan in the Chandivali constituency.

Later, George held a meeting with key figures from the Bombay Catholic Church, including Fr Fraser, activist Teesta Setalvad and Salsette general secretary Cornell at Mathew Antony’s residence in Bandra West.
