HDFC SKY Renames Ghatkopar Metro Station to Promote Financial Awareness

Mumbai | Ghatkopar Metro Station has been officially renamed HDFC SKY Ghatkopar as part of HDFC SKY’s #MakeMoneyMatter campaign. The initiative by HDFC Securities' discount broking platform aims to foster financial literacy and encourage responsible investing in mutual funds, equities, derivatives, and more.

The station now features Braille stickers for the visually impaired, charging kiosks with digital calculators for financial planning, and dedicated guidance for downloading the HDFC SKY app. Commuters can also attend free seminars on investing, hosted on-site by financial experts.

Dhiraj Relli, MD & CEO of HDFC Securities, highlighted the importance of financial inclusion, stating, “This initiative aligns with India’s shift towards equitization of savings, encouraging long-term wealth creation.”

Beyond financial tools, the station boasts vibrant artistic installations and digital screens showcasing educational content to engage its daily 3-5 lakh commuters. HDFC SKY hopes to transform Ghatkopar Metro into a hub for both transit and financial empowerment.
