Famous painter Mohanan Vasudevan's 'Beyond Boundaries' exhibition from 17th of this month

Exhibition at Worli Nehru Center Art Gallery

Mumbai | Famous painter Mohanan Vasudevan's exhibition 'Beyond Boundaries' will be held at Worli Nehru Center Art Gallery from 17th to 23rd of this month. Prof. Rajendra Patil of J. J. School of Art will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony on 17th at 3 pm. Film producer and director Madhusudan Kumar, Dr. Uttam V Jain, Mahendra Kalanthri and Dr. Anil Nair will participate in the event and speak.

The exhibition includes 63 paintings such as Evolution in the cave series, Muscle Power depicting the animalistic features inherent in man, Gandhiji's expression of different thoughts, different moments in the Covid era, Power of Horse, Colors of Love, Origin, Duality, Ambush, etc. The paintings are done on canvas and paper in the medium of oil, watercolor, acrylic, pencil and ink and charcoal.

Mohanan Vasudevan hails from Vallikunnam in Alappuzha district of Kerala. He was a Havildar in the Indian Army Corps of Signals. Mohanan Vasudevan is a talented painter who follows the 'semi-abstract' style of modern painting, with an emphasis on lines and colours, inspired by Kerala mural painting.
