Mumbai | Dr. Shaji Krishnan V., Chairman, NABARD, inaugurated the National Handloom Day Exhibition-cum-Sale at NABARD Head Office, Mumbai, on 5 August 2026, celebrating India's rich handloom heritage and the craftsmanship of rural artisans. The inauguration was attended by Shri Goverdhan S. Rawat, Deputy Managing Director; Dr. Ajay Kumar Sood, Deputy Managing Director; Shri Rakesh Kashyap, Deputy Managing Director; and Dr. B. R. Premi, Chief General Manager, NABARD. The exhibition showcases an exquisite collection of handloom products from artisan groups and producer organisations supported by NABARD, providing them with a platform to connect with consumers and promote sustainable rural livelihoods.
