Mumbai | Ujjwal Nikam, the BJP candidate from Mumbai North Central, met Archbishop of Bombay Cardinal Oswald Gracias and sought his blessings. He was accompanied by BJP Mumbai unit president Ashish Shelar.

Nikam pledged to always support truth in politics, as he did when he was public prosecutor, and uphold values of fraternity.

Nikam gained national prominence as the public prosecutor and special public prosecutor in high-profile terror cases, including the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. He ensured the maximum punishment for the accused which also included Ajmal Kasab.
