All India Christian Association came into being on Gandhi Jayanti

In the meeting, the representatives requested that situations should be prepared for various Christian organizations to work with the association.

MUMBAI | The All India Christian Association (AICA) came into existence on October 2, the Gandhi Jayanti. Jojo Thomas, who was elected as the president of the organization, said that although there are various Christian organizations in the country, there is no such organization that deals with the common issues of the Christian community.

Jojo Thomas is the General Secretary of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee and President of All Mumbai Malayali Association and well known in the social and cultural field.

In coming days, AICA will form its state & district level associations in all states by including all sections of the Christian community. The representatives selected from the nine states who participated in the meeting said that the organization will be there with the Christian community in intervening and finding solution to all its legitimate problems.

In the meeting, the representatives requested that situations should be prepared for various Christian organizations to work with the association. People from states of Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala participated in the meeting.
