SEAL has always followed the practice of bringing the destitute to the SEAL Ashram, treating them and then handing them back to their relatives.
Around 578 lives have been brought back home by SEAL so far.
It was about 7 months ago that information was received in SEAL that for more than six years Muhammad Salim Shaikh, a native of Mira Road, had been living under the flyover near Pushpa Park on Malad Western Expressway in a debilitated and mentally deranged state.
Muhammad Sheikh, who sometimes displayed violent behavior and could not control himself, slowly became very calm after reaching the SEAL. Later he ministered under the leadership of Pastor Philip. But Sheikh said that his family was in Mira Road only a month ago.
After he regained his memories completely, he gave the address to the Ashram. The SEAL officials immediately went to Mira Road and found the family. Then the son and son-in-law came to the SEAL and took them home.
