Two brothers died of electrocution while unloading feed at a poultry farm in Vettathur on Wednesday, police said.

The deceased were identified as Fazil and Sahir, natives of Ezhuthala, police said.

The incident occurred when the brothers were unloading feed at the farm. They reportedly came into contact with a live wire and suffered electric shocks.

Police suspect they may have been electrocuted by a wire allegedly used as a trap to keep stray dogs and wild boars away.

The exact cause of death will be ascertained after post-mortem examinations, police added.
