Twenty20 announces more candidates including Akhil Marar for Kerala Assembly polls

Kochi | Twenty20, which recently joined the NDA, on Monday announced three candidates for the upcoming Assembly election in the state to be held on April 9.

Twenty20, associated with the Kitex textile company based in Kizhakkambalam here, recently joined the NDA.

Party president and Kitex Group head Sabu M Jacob announced the candidates for Thrikkakara, Thiruvambady and Thrikkarippur constituencies.

Film director and social media influencer Akhil Marar will contest from the Thrikkakara constituency.

Sunny Thomas has been fielded from Thiruvambady in Kozhikode district, while Ravi Kulangara will contest from Thrikkarippur in Kasaragod district.

Earlier, Twenty20 had announced former Congress leader Babu Divakaran as its candidate in the Kunnathunad seat.

Twenty20 will be contesting in more Assembly seats and the announcement of other candidates will be made in the coming days.
