Mavelikkara | National Literary Conference is being organized on October 26 and 27 under the leadership of Onattukara Sahithi at Mavelikkara under the name "Vaikhari 2024". The programme will be inaugurated by Goa Governor P.S. Sreedharan Pillai. The venue is Punnamudu "Jivaram" in Mavelikkara.

 Pratibha Rai - Oriya (Jnanpeeth, Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan), Damodar Mauso - Konkani (Jnanpeeth winner), Sharankumar Limbale - Marathi (Saraswati Award winner) and other foreign language literary talents will participate in the event. And there will be the participation of leading writers in Malayalam too, according to the office bearers of Onattukara Sahithi (Madhu Iravankara, President, Suresh Verma, Secretary & Gen. Convener and George Thazhakkara, Programme Convener).

N S Madhavan, Prabhavarma, Dr. George Onakkur, K P Ramanunny, Bennyamin, T D Ramakrishnan, Dr. M G Sasibhushan, Manoj Kurur, Unni R, Dr. Lopa Mudra, K. Rekha, K. Rajagopal, Francis Noronha, Dr. Sheeja Vakkam, etc. will lead various debates and discussions. Six debates will take place over two days.
