TDB will examine whether norms violated in appointment of officials: Board chief

TDB president K Jayakumar said that the board will examine whether there have been any appointments in violation of the norms and anything wrong with regard to the postings will be rectified

Thiruvananthapuram | TDB president K Jayakumar on Tuesday said that the board will examine whether there have been any appointments in violation of the norms and anything wrong with regard to the postings will be rectified.

The move comes a day after State Devaswoms Minister K Muraleedharan asked the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) to withdraw a recent circular appointing officials facing probe in the Sabarimala gold loss case to key positions in the organisation.

Jayakumar said that complaints have been received and if there was anything wrong with the order issued by the TDB, it would be rectified.

"Anything which is in violation of the norms with regard to the postings, my wish is to rectify the same," he told reporters.
