LoP in the Kerala Assembly Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday said the state police chief's presence in the House ahead of the policy address was unusual and against rules

Thiruvananthapuram | Leader of Opposition in the Kerala Assembly Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday said the state police chief's presence in the House ahead of the policy address was unusual and against rules.

Ravada Chandrasekhar, in plain clothes, was seen accompanying Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar inside the House ahead of the policy address.

Vijayan said that the matter has come to everyone's attention and that he believes Speaker Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan will speak to the state police chief about it.

The opposition leader said that although it was different from the usual practice, it may have happened by mistake.
