RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat arrives in Kerala for three-day visit

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Friday arrived in Thiruvananthapuram on a three-day visit to Kerala, during which he will attend events in different parts of the state as part of the organisation's centenary celebrations, sources said.

Bhagwat arrived in the state capital by air on Friday evening.

He is scheduled to participate in lecture events being organised in Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur as part of the RSS centenary programmes, sources said.

Bhagwat will address an invited gathering at the Udaya Palace Convention Centre in Thiruvananthapuram at 4.30 pm on June 13.

He will also interact with the audience and answer questions during the event.

A similar programme will be held at the Hyatt Regency, Puzhakkal, in Thrissur at 4.30 pm on June 14, sources said.

During the visit, Bhagwat will travel to Amritapuri and meet spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi.

After completing his engagements in Kerala, he is scheduled to leave for Bengaluru from Kochi airport on the morning of June 15, sources said.
