Thiruvananthapuram | Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday welcomed the arrival of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav to campaign for the ruling LDF in the upcoming Assembly polls, saying his presence would bolster efforts to protect the country's secular fabric.
In a post on X, Vijayan thanked Yadav for extending solidarity and joining the Left Democratic Front's campaign in the state for the April 9 elections.
"Thank you, @yadavtejashwi, for your solidarity and for joining the LDF's campaign in Keralam. Your presence and support strengthen our collective fight to protect our secular fabric and advance a pro-people alternative. Together, we will ensure a resounding victory for the people of Keralam," he said.
Yadav, who reached Malappuram to campaign for CPI(M) candidate M K Sakeer in the Ponnani constituency on Tuesday, also expressed gratitude to the people for their support.
"Grateful to the people of Malappuram for their love, support, warmth and affection," he said in his X post.
