The accused was identified as Daniel, a native of Manathana, police said on Wednesday.

The alleged incident took place on Sunday when the complainant woman sought treatment at the government taluk hospital in Kuthuparamba, where the man was working as a nursing assistant.

Quoting the 23-year-old woman, the police said Daniel had tried to molest her while dressing her wounds.
